i want to become a bank accountant but what do i need to study in college?

Not sure, but if you want an easy way into the Banking world...balaclava, and banana under the coat might help! ;_)

You want to major in Accounting. If that is not offered, Corporate Finance or Finance with a concentration in Accounting. American higher education does not really distinguish between public (accounting firms and auditors) and corporate accounting (such as banks). It is generally all under one major titled Accounting.
