How and why do accounts get suspended?

How and why do accounts get suspended?
I see a lot of users complaining about how easily accounts get suspended and a few users claiming they have gone through multiple accounts. I'm just wondering, is it really that easy to get suspended? What type of behaviour gets a user suspended? Is a suspension actually checked out by staff or is all done automatically e.g 'x amount of violations suspends account'. Thanks.

Answer 1 :
or is all done automatically e.g 'x amount of violations suspends account'
Answer 2 :
because someone reports something you say and if its bad enough the people from yahoo kick you off
Answer 3 :
They violate the rules
Answer 4 :
Most accounts that are suspended are actually deletions. Most users are unfamiliar and can't understand what makes a violation and continually make the same mistakes. If they fail to learn then for them it is easily to keep getting deleted. Those are the less serious ways to loose an account. Posting abuse, point gaming, malicious behavior, and posting spam etc gets them removed faster. All violations are posted by computers, and it is when an appeal to the Answers Team is read it is actioned. I believe they will also read certain reports when certain types of abuse are recognised, and it can be helped by us to draw the attention to the Answers Team if we post the URL of the abuser to the Answers team and in the report box briefly state our reason, eg spam, obscene name or avatar etc. Answers Team Note the spelling or just copy and paste to an email. y_answrs_team_au@yahoo.com.au
Answer 5 :
Suspension pretty much means you are finished with that YA account although you can continue to use the email address. You can appeal but that is rarely successful, You might be best to forget it and start over again with a new account.Yahoo doesn't seem to play favourites, it doesn't matter if you have been a member for day, a week,a month or years or are a top contributor or at the seventh level, the same rules apply to everyone. It also doesn't seem to matter the number of violations but more the severity or perceived severity of the violations. Yahoo takes a dim view of SPAM, bigotry, pornography , being underage 13, insulting other members, racism, anything that even borders on illegal such as drugs even soft drugs, downloading movies, music programs etc. or links to that kind of stuff Any of that can mean a speedy exit. it is also a serious violation to have more than one YA account. It is considered to be cheating and If you do you could be suspended http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers/abuse/abuse-249517.html;_ylt=Ag1MyvoNQNX_1ok8kgYC2rBujSN4 To appeal: Go below. Just follow the prompts. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers/first_appeal.html;_ylt=AqSixcLqgNB6qjbOqvw87AVs5SN4?from_url=http%3A%2F%2Fuk.answers.yahoo.com%2Fquestion%2Findex%3Fqid%3D20090927213232AAg7HxB Your old points are history.Yahoo just doesn't give specific reasons for account suspension. You can read the guidelines and terms of service below, they tend to be very ambiguous, appeals are often a waste of time and points. Some suggestions, If you haven't done so, edit you info so your questions and answers are hidden that way it makes it harder for trolls who enjoy reporting violations or presumed violations to stalk you. Also, avoid pages with controversial subjects such as religion, homosexuality, racism, pornography, any hatred, downloading movies or music, drugs even soft drugs, etc. Don't give smart, flip or sarcastic answers nor use any profanity and if you believe you are being stalked go to other categories. You might also consider changing your avatar and I.d. http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/info/community_guidelines http://info.yahoo.com/legal/ca/yahoo/utos/utos-ca01.html

How much does it cost to transfer ₤75,000 to a Mexican bank account?

How much does it cost to transfer ₤75,000 to a Mexican bank account?
Hi there, I would be interesting to buy a property in Mexico. Nevertheless, my savings are in British pounds, and I would like to transfer this savings to a Mexican bank account. I don't know how much the operations cost, since British pounds will be converted into Mexican peso? Do you know what could be the bank commission? Do we pay taxes when transfering money abroad? Thanks for your help! ok, 99-year land lease instead of buying.

Answer 1 :
Non Mexican citizens can NOT buy property in Mexico
Answer 2 :
Transfere it in sterling !, International money mover or something like that costs about twenty five quid. They will exchange it when it arrives in your mexican bank accout at onshore mexican rates. Check a mexican bank for there rates But be very careful about buying anything abroad . check the land title deeds are real . There are loads of scams with fake title deeds and you will lose your money.
Answer 3 :
about 40 quid
Answer 4 :
There are companies dealing with these transactions to name only one or two Money corps, Currency4less etc... Any property exhibition has a stand with a co like that it's worth looking into. Search about money transactions abroad on any search engine is also an idea As far as I know there is as little as £10 to pay! and no tax to pay, you have probably already paid taxes on this amount or on the interests. These questions you will have to ask the company of yr choice and they will also tell you that you will have to open an acompte in that country but ask about if you are legal to do so in that country... hope this helps Regards E
Answer 5 :
I strongly suggest you speak to a professional adviser, transferring monies to certain American countries is a nightmare. You also can't buy property without the correct visa & permit from the Mexican Home Office, you must get an advance permitt authority. Be careful, there are a ton off conmen who will tell you other tales. Call the embassy in london, they will advise free of charge.
Answer 6 :
Sounds too much money, try sending an e-mail with your questions to this mexican banks (avoid the one called bbva or bancomer): www.hsbc.com.mx (citybank)www.banamex.com.mx http://www.scotiabank.com.mx/default.htm http://santander.mapasactivos.com/ I think you should have opened an account here to do that kind of transfer (maybe hsbc). By the way 1 pound costs here 18 pesos.

How old do I have to be to open a bank account in the UK?

How old do I have to be to open a bank account in the UK?
I'm 15, 16 the start of next year, just wondering if I would be able to open a bank account without parental consent? I have bank accounts already which my parents know about but I have money at home which I would like to put in my own account, away from my parents if possible. Just so I know if anything happens, I do have my own money. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Answer 1 :
Well, you can only open a bank account that invovles having a debit card when your over 13 *with* parental consent, but you can open an account that alows you to just deposit and withdraw funds at 11 years old and you dont need your parents consent, but you do if you want to withdraw/deposit over £50 in one transaction.
