How to break into investment banking/finance?
I have several years of work experience in market research and on the editorial/publishing side of a business think-tank. I've come to realize that I'm in a dead-end position and don't see myself spending further decades in market research or in a business publishing role. I'm able to network with many finance professionals among my acquaintances. I do have a business degree, but am not specialised in finance or accounting. Unfortunately, I'm probably too old to be considered for formal trainee programmes. Are there "softer" experienced hire positions within investment banks that someone with my background can realistically aim for in order to get his foot in the door? How do I pitch myself as a career-changer?

i's say - get some accounting knowledge and try and get a position in the reconciliations department.. from there, once you're in you can work your way around

You should try the Chartered Insurance Institute website and you'll find details of any qualifications you need and what type of job the qualifications will lead to. www.cii.co.uk Also, if you do go down this route i would recommend buying your study material from bpp.com instead of direct from the CII as the books are easier to learn from. How can you cancel your account on wikipedia?
I heard some people say that you cannot delete a wikipedia account, but is there anyway?

No, there is no way of doing it. It is possible for an admin to do it, but getting hold of the wikipedia admins is difficult. If you dont want it, then your best bet is to just forget about the account, and erase the cookies and saved passwords in your browser. Another reason that Forum and wiki admins dont like erasing accounts is that the history is kept for years, and erasing accounts leaves untidy holes in the archives.

How to completey deleted all internet browsing history?
I have been on someone Else's computer doing banking and accounting things and I want to know if you can delete all history after you've deleted it on the browser.

CLICK ON START THEN GO TO CONTROL PANEL THEN TO INTERNET OPTIONS THE DELETE AL BROWSING HISTORY AND THATS HOW U DO IT

windows 7= tools + delete browser history, check all boxes and click delete vista would be tools, internet options, delete browser history and apply

Assuming you're using chrome, you click on the spanner in the top right, click history, edit items, clear all browsing data. If you're using internet explorer though you should be ashamed.

You can add their usernames to the sshd_config to deny them SSH access: # vi /etc/ssh/sshd_config Append following names (directives): DenyUsers joeuser You can also make the ftp users you want to deny members of a group and then deny the entire group ssh access # vi /etc/ssh/sshd_config Append following names (directives): DenyGroups theftpgroup Don't forget to restart the sshd service to make the changes active: sudo service sshd restart
