How can you cancel your account on wikipedia?
I heard some people say that you cannot delete a wikipedia account, but is there anyway?

No, there is no way of doing it. It is possible for an admin to do it, but getting hold of the wikipedia admins is difficult. If you dont want it, then your best bet is to just forget about the account, and erase the cookies and saved passwords in your browser. Another reason that Forum and wiki admins dont like erasing accounts is that the history is kept for years, and erasing accounts leaves untidy holes in the archives.

Accounts can't be deleted or cancelled, even by Wikipedia administrators - article histories have to show all relevant changes, whether good or bad and whether the editor is still active or not. However, you can just stop using your account.
