What is the main reason why accounts get suspended?
I have never had my account suspended. However, are there any other Y!A users who have had it happen to them, and if so, why?

Answer 1 :
they violate copyright issues
Answer 2 :
I think a small group are users who are abusing the system by posting spam deliberately, are reported and are deleted because we the users report them. The majority are regular users who just will not understand the rules and continually post questions and answers that are violations. The other small group are those who have finally reached Yahoos patience over a period of time and are suspended. You and I both know that suspension actually means 'deletion', unfortunately others don't accept that, and are also unaware if they really tick Yahoo off, Yahoo will delete their entire Yahoo account, and will one morning wake up to find that to Yahoo they no longer exist.
Answer 3 :
the system will provent the sensitive words, spam or some advertisement,,,,

My original YA account was suspended for referring someone to a torrents download site, something considered illegal. There are more than one there are several. This pretty much covers it. Yahoo doesn't seem to play favorites, it doesn't matter if you have been a member for day, a week,a month or years or are a top contributor the same rules apply to everyone. It also doesn't seem to matter the number of violations but more the severity or perceived severity of the violations. Yahoo takes a dim view of SPAM, bigotry, pornography , being underage 13, insulting other members, racism, anything that even borders on illegal such as drugs even soft drugs, downloading movies, music programs etc. or links to that kind of stuff Any of that can mean a speedy exit. If you have more than one YA account and they are used for cheating which is often the case it is a serious violation and all your Yahoo accounts could be suspended http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/answers/abuse/abuse-249517.html;_ylt=Ag1MyvoNQNX_1ok8kgYC2rBujSN4

The Yahoo statement is that one or more trusted reporters must report a question or answer for it to be deleted. You can appeal and if the appeal is upheld the reporter loses some credibility. It takes a number of violations to get someone suspended, the exact number would vary dependant on the severity of the violations.
