Answer 1 :
in london, i would guess you would be earning about 25k but that depends on qualificaitons and experience i suppose. why not look at some job search web sites and get a feel of what companies offer as wages. you get better value for money up north, cheaper housing, cheaper goods and services etc, but obviously then wages are a bit less. dont live in central london unless you're really loaded with money, its very expensive for accommodation. i doubt you will be able to live on one income. depending on how experienced you are, you could be earning up to about 70k but that might be after a few years
Answer 2 :
£ 400, 000. would be nice.but dont bother stay where you are. and i mean stay where you are.
Answer 3 :
probably about £35000 until you have proved yourself and then the sky is the limit. Not sure that location matters, people all over the country need accountants. Don't try and start in London, go for places like Reading which is close but housing is much cheaper. If you have a family, you will probably pay £300000 for a reasonable house in the suburbs, moving in to the town will be cheaper but rather restrictive if you go for a Victorian terrace, as they are smaller, tiny garden, and nowhere to park a car.
Answer 4 :
I advise you to check that your Indian qualification does not require 'topping up' or conversion to meet UK standards.
Answer 5 :
The UK is England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland altogether. London is in England.

Salaries vary depending on many factors. To find more accurate salary data you can try www.bls.gov, monster.com ,salary.com or PayScale.com. You will find that jobs like these are negotiable when it comes to salary.More information, tips and help at http://moreaboutsalary.blogspot.com/
